Interesting.. Looks sort of like a desk, or something from star wars with those blue lights.. I think the main window works nice, although although it sorts of melt together. It's hard to spot each element. The brushed style looks like a different theme which is too bad and the transparent black menu does not fit with the theme either. It's not something I would use, but it's quite well done.

This is a strange concept, and I still can't quite get what the elements/surfaces are supposed to represent, but the dark maroon with blue lights is a pretty shocking color combination, and one that works pretty well. The only thing is that it's very hard to see some elements, and I think you should make them more easily distinguishable from the background. (This is in the Aqua window.)

Very interesting, but inconsistent and illogical.

This mockup is very cool but it suffers from the same problem as Mike Matas' Paper and Plastic. The maroon desk is amazingly cool, as is the metal and Aqua elements, but the two just don't seem to mesh well together. This also has a potential for a huge consistency problem. I also think that the metal texture may be a little too high contrast (the streaks are too prominent) and the mahogany desk design seems too low-contrast. Overall, two good concepts that suffer from being combined. However, on the other hand it's very refreshing to see variation between the Aqua and Metal window types.

It looked better in my head.

I don't like this theme at all. THe single color just looks very unattractive to me.

unfortunately i don't expect this theme to win but it is one of my favorite ones (i gave it a 5). i love the colors as well as the tangible aspect of the theme. perhaps with a few color variations the general public might like it better

I hate to be harsh, but this doesn't seem to work at all. It doesn't really look like anything, and the color looks "dead" for some reason.

in all the theme looks somewhat inconsistent but there are aspects that i really like. i love the blue glow of certain activated elements and the pin stripes are just awesome. unfortunately buttons and background are too much of the same color and that makes the theme probably hard to use... but nevertheless its a good idea which might make an awesome theme if refined. the aqua window is probably the best startingpoint. ;)

One of my favs. Really like the metal window =)

The low levels of contrast make it completely unusable on an LCD screen. I saw it on a CRT and said, "Oh that's what he was going for" The thing is apple and LCD are like peanut butter and jelly.

This reminds me of Virtual Pool or something like that from the mid to late 90s. A cool game, with a cool look. However that look is rather dated by now, and that is true of this mockup's appearance as well. I like the buttons, and the blue highlights, but too many elements just disappear into the background.

One question, why are the metal window widgets a different color from the aqua window's? Unless there's something I'm missing that isn't possible.

I like the metal window, but the rest didn't do much fior me.

What I think this theme needs is more contrast and colors that work with each other. Brown-red just doesn't work with light blue. The whole theme almost looks like a flat panel with a few slightly beveled areas and text. I don't mean to be mean, but this really needs improvement. Don't let this stop you from making themes though! Practice makes perfect! (Most of the time...)

I like the idea and the premise, but the maroon is far to dark and contrastig with the rest. Make it a bit more grey closer to the inactive window and it could work.

This is a theme? Looks like a brown square with white text.
